The MetaInfo SAFE DHCP Quarantine Framework The SAFE DHCP Quarantine Framework is the next step in Network Access Control. Using the SAFE DHCP Quarantine Appliance and the MAC Address Authentication Module, network users must pass the host integrity scanning and authentication procedures your site requires. A special DNS internal root service, SAFE DNS, resolves all queries not specifically configured to the SAFE DHCP Quarantine Web page. You control what happens after a user completes and passes the procedures, but users that fail the procedures remain in quarantine and isolated from the rest of your network. SAFE DHCP Quarantine requires the SAFE DHCP Quarantine Appliance, included with the Meta SAFE DHCP Unlimited IP Address solution. You can also use Meta IP and purchase a separate SAFE DHCP Quarantine Appliance. - Configure the SAFE DHCP Quarantine Appliance's IP address and install the licenses.
- Run the Meta IP or Meta SAFE DHCP Site Deployment Wizard, which walks you through the creation of the SAFE DHCP service (including static routes to scanning/authentication sources), SAFE DNS service, and MAC Address Authentication.
