The Meta DNS Pro Management Console

Meta DNS Pro features an intuitive user interface, called the Management Console, that allows you to create network services, add records, and manage your data from a single window.

Meta DNS Pro Initialization Wizard

The Initialization wizard asks a few questions and then automatically configures:

• Forward and Reverse zones
• Common network services (FTP server, Web server, and Mail server)

Zone Template Tool

The Meta DNS Pro Zone Template Tool makes the life of the network administrator easier. You can create a zone template that contains the resource records and DNS options that are common to all of your zones, or several templates that each apply to a subset of your zones. This makes creating new zones quick and reduces potential errors.

Dynamic Data

The Meta DNS Pro Dynamic view displays current DNS activity. You can search any or all zones for records, obtain properties, and delete a record or a range of records.

Configuration Analysis Tools

Configuration Analysis tools provide reports that you can run on your DNS services and zones to troubleshoot problems and examine configuration and usage. Meta DNS Pro provides each tool as a configurable template that you can save and use again at a specific time, a specific date, or a specific interval. You can display an analysis on the screen, to a table, or to a file that you can further customize.
